    Winter Growth has immediate availability for Private Rooms starting at $5,200/month - ALL Inclusive. There are no move-in fees, and subsidies are available for qualified income levels. 

    With an active, on-site, VA approved Adult Day Health Program, Winter Growth residents benefit from: 

    • Nursing oversight and medication management
    • Strength and fitness classes that lessen fall risks
    • Brain fitness activities that preserve cognitive levels
    • Recreational programs and outings that provide social support and improve mental health

    On-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy are also available.

    Neighbor Ride and Winter Growth invite you to attend a ribbon cutting for the Community Connector, a collaborative project dedicated to expanding accessible transportation in Howard County.

    Date: Tuesday, January 14, 2020
    Time: 10:00 am (Reception Follows)
    Location: Winter Growth, Inc. (5460 Ruth Keeton Way - Columbia, MD 21044)

    During a pilot project set to launch with the ribbon cutting, wheelchair accessible transportation will be available for a finite number of Howard County residents, aged 60 and over. Rides will initially be restricted to weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will be available for medical appointments in Howard County. While capacity will be limited during the pilot period, Neighbor Ride and Winter Growth are looking forward to expanding the Community Connector program in the coming years.

    A Celebration of 15 Years of Service in Howard County

    On November 17th 2004, with just 20 volunteers on board, Neighbor Ride launched its transportation program serving older adults in Howard County. Today, a team of 400 volunteers coordinate and provide over 1,500 trips each month – giving seniors the “wheels” they need to remain active, independent, and connected to the community. All are invited to join us in celebrating!

    Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m (brief program at 4 p.m.)

    Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a Free CE Event for Social Workers and Certified Case Managers - "Understanding Cognitive Assessments" - Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00pm Box lunch provided.

The program will discuss the pros & cons of common types of cognitive assessments, how to use cognitive assessment results to impact care recommendations and how other medical diagnoses may affect cognitive assessments. Presented by Mikki Firor, M.S.. Ms. Firor is a gerontologist and dementia expert.

    The Account Executive (Home Health Sales Representative) is responsible for executing the sales strategy to increase company market share through account development and educating the medical community on services provided by the company while operating within set budget.

    Additional Details

    • Achievement of monthly Personal Production Goals and MC admit budgets for assigned locations.
    • Successfully executes a weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategy to increase market share through key account development including prospecting/diversification and call frequency/routing. Plans activity to maximize territory coverage of both existing and prospective accounts.
    • Responsible for executing effective sales calls that identify and meet the needs of the referral community and clearly communicate the features and benefits of the LHC Group. These include pre and post call planning, establishing rapport, effective questioning skills, proposing solutions, handling objections and closing.
    • Works closely with the Executive Director/Clinical Director to drive a vision of growth by focusing every team member on the needs and expectations of the referral community and patients.
    • Responsible for all sales administration duties including, but not limited to, Playmaker, CRM expense entry compliance, BOA with associated Policies and Procedures, payroll time sheets, Weekly 3LS meetings with strategic updates, PTO requests, paperwork (485/F2F) delivery or pick-up when needed, timely cell phone and e-mail correspondence.
    • Responsible for being a good steward of the company's financial resources by projecting a return on monies spent and managing to a Sales and Marketing expense budget.
    • Knows the features and benefits of the services provided by LHC Group. Is able to articulate competitive advantages, specialty programs, and Medicare guidelines. Educates the medical community about the services of our organization through effective sales calls and in-services with the appropriate tools and literature.
    • Any other tasks that are assigned.Qualifications
    • Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree PreferredExperience Requirements
    • Two to three years of prior successful Home Health or Hospice sales experience preferred.Skill Requirements
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills required.
    • Must have strong computer skills to meet Microsoft Outlook and CRM software requirements.
    • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be self motivated.
