The COGS Board of Directors are dedicated members of COGS who conduct the business of the organization. Directors and Officers are elected at the Annual Meeting, by a majority vote of the members present. The expectations of Board members are:
*To maintain good standing in the organization.
*To attend at least three-quarters of all meetings.
*To serve on at least one standing committee.
*To provide financial or in-kind support of the organization’s fundraising activities.
The Board meets the first Friday of each month from 8:30 to 10:00am at the Residences at Vantage Point, or virtually, from September through June.
Board committees include Community Outreach Committee; Executive Committee; Marketing Committee, Membership Committee; Legislative Committee; and Program Committee.
