About Our Speaker:
Heather Wandell, CEO of Another Way To See It, LLC, is a speaker and workshop presenter on therapeutic laughter and transformative life and business practices. She has worked as a trainer with World Laughter Tour, under the mentorship of Psychologist and author, Steve Wilson. She has trained with Pragito Dove, world renowned author and Master Meditator, in laughter meditation, another form of therapeutic laughter that replaces stress and stagnation with joy and possibility thinking. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 1985 and a Masters in the Applied Healing Arts from the Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, MD in June 2007. She has thirteen years experience in Older Adult Day Programming and pursues the Science of Mind teachings through the Center for Spiritual Living, Laurel. She belongs to several business organizations and is on the board of Frisky's Wildlife and Primate Sanctuary. Heather is the author of Monkey Business: 37 Better Business Practices Learned Through Monkeys. She makes the connection between monkey behavior and human workplace behavior and offers a transformative practice in each chapter. She is the mother of two grown children, Morgan and Brad. She resides with her husband, Bob, their dog, Caramel, and their three cats: Osiris, Charm, and Spooky, in Ellicott City, MD. They have recently returned from a two year assignment in Abu Dhabi, where Heather led therapeutic laughter sessions for the women’s shelter at the Indonesian Embassy.
