About this Event: Now more than ever our world is digital, allowing quick and easy access to a myriad of products, services and information. Unfortunately, not everyone feels that ease, presenting a gap that a new field called ‘Digital Equity & Inclusion’ aims to shrink. Howard County Office on Aging and Independence’s Digital Inclusion Specialist, Malarie Burgess, is working to bridge the digital divide for the Howard County community. The older adult population is one of the primary groups impacted in digital access – affordability and education being the key areas. Join Malarie as she discusses what work is being done to support the aging population in technology resiliency.
