Membership meetings are free to COGS members. Non-members pay $10 at the door. Continental breakfast is provided at all meetings. For more information, contact COGS at info@cogsmd.org. Please bring literature and business cards for our info table.
We also collect non-perishable foods for the Food on the 15th program, which COGS sponsors. These donations are voluntary. Please support this program as often as you can. Donations support a project at Pointers Run Elementary and Clarksville Middle Schools that affords students the opportunity to learn first hand about philanthropy at a young age. The students collect the food donations, sort and bag them, and deliver the groceries, with the assistance of their parents, to the residents of a senior housing complex in Howard County. Many of the residents are economically challenged and live on as little as $9,000 per year. They often have to make the choice between purchasing food and prescriptions.
